Piper is doing great and you'd never know she was injured!  She is happy and runs like the wind. Please consider this busy and loveable girl for the home of her dreams!  



Precious Piper was found as a stray in the Bryan/College Station area.  Piper was picked up on the side of the road after what is imaged as a "hit by a car" situation which fractured her pelvis and femur.  After X-rays and a thorough exam by one of our favorite docs, Dr. Banwell at Bay Area in Houston - it was determined that the injury had already begun to heal and she might start putting weight on it given a little more healing time.  We are in the "wait and see" phase and keeping her comfortable.  She is on good pain medication and we will continue to monitor her progress and hope that she will begin to use the injured leg and bare weight.  She currently runs like the wind but is still lifting her leg.  Only time will tell.  Please keep this angel in yours thoughts and prayers!
