Description:
Barkley is a handsome, playful, and happy boy, but can be cautious with strangers. Once he gets to know you, his tail never stops wagging! He loves going for walks, playing with toys and gets along great with his two foster brothers (also dachshunds). After a short play session or walk he is ready to nap and chill out. He is potty trained and uses the doggie door. Barkley would do best in a home without small children since he has been known to snap if a stranger goes to pick him up and startles him. Barkley just needs an adopter who is committed to taking the time to get to know him, and his loving, happy side will flourish!
