Kimmie and her housemates were part of a hoarding seizure. Kimmie is very shy and can take some time to warm up. We are fairly certain she wasn’t exposed to new people in her former situation so we’re working to build her confidence. Kimmie is estimated to be 3 years old and she’s a tiny girl weighing just over 7 lbs. Kimmie is very sweet and once she feels comfortable with someone, she enjoys being petted and loved on. She goes outside to potty and is learning how to use the doggy door. She enjoys sunbathing on the back patio and is showing a little more interest in the other dogs in her foster home. She’s not a chewer nor destructive. She looks to one of the dogs who came in with her for comfort and shares a crate with him at night. Her companion Redmond is also available for adoption. At this time we don’t know how Kimmie is with kids or cats. She has completed her vetting and is ready to go to a new home. Won’t you consider adding Kimmie to your family? And if you have room for two, her companion Redmond would love to go with her...but it’s not required that they be adopted together.
