Roxy's life has not been a bed of roses! This little sweetheart has been moved from pillar to post and gone through a number of address changes in her great rescue adventure! Most recently she was relinquished to a shelter and found to have had a microchip from another organization where she had been rescued several years before! Since then, Roxy has been on the streets as a stray, possibly stolen from an original owner, purchased from an unscrupulous person from the back of a truck, involved in a ugly cruelty issue, relinquished to a city shelter, and finally taken in by ATDR. She has a significant case of heartworms and is being treated for those at this time, while soaking up the love and attention she so deserves in her new foster home! Roxy is a red sable longhaired mini female that is about five years old. She is sweet and calm and loves to be loved! If you have a soft spot for those whose lives have been less than perfect - Roxy is your girl! She is finally safe and we will see that she never has to live in fear or hardship again!
