Pepper came to ATDR from the Bastrop Animal Shelter. The Shelter wrote the following appeal when asking ATDR to help her: When Pepper first came into the Shelter, she had a hard time raising her head all the way. Since being on pain medication, it doesn’t bother her as much, unless in a very tight corner where she has to scrunch her neck, then she seems to be in pain. Our spay/neuter vet evaluated her and thinks that she may have a mild cervical dislocation. We are sharing with you because she really needs additional veterinarian care beyond what we can give her. On a side note, one of our medical techs took her home last night and noted that she does well with other dogs as long as they aren’t in her business. She does not seem to like cats or chickens or any other animals smaller than her. She is a super lap dog and loves every person she has met. She just wants to be near you. She is such a sweet little girl.
ATDR is appealing for financial help to give Sweet Pepper the veterinarian care she urgently needs. Please consider going to the Donate button on the atdr.org home page...any donation would be greatly appreciated.
