Dumped in the piney woods by a backyard breeder in East Texas, this little Princess life of breeding is OVER!  She was transported to Houston by her rescuer and they planned to take her to a no-kill shelter.  That didn't happen, when she jumped our of his jeep in the driveway and ran right into the arms of an ATDR volunteer.  Even though she isn't a dachshund she won the heart of her ATDR volunteer and jointed the program! 

Polly is a beautiful red pomeraian, about 3 years old.  She has had several litters of puppies and in the process has lost a bit of luster in her coat.  We are working on some great supplements and hope that her coat regains the protein and luster that it once had.  She is bouncy and has a delightful and charming personality and is great with all of the doxies in her foster home.  We honestly love her and feel that she will make a wonderful companion.
