I'm Bauer. 2008 was not my favorite year. I wound up in a shelter and was adopted by a family who allowed me to get heartworms and then dumped me right back in the pound. Later I was adopted by another family who sadly could not afford the Heartworm treatment. But instead of taking me back to the scary pound, they contacted Rescue and now I am safe in a new foster home. My Heartworms are being treated and I will be ready to go in Mid March. I am a very friendly boy and get along with ALL the dogs I have met so far. I LOVE playing with my foster brother....we wrestle and chase and tug on toys. I am learning about potty training and crate training very quickly. I am a very smart boy. I picked up the doggie door immediately. Please consider making me your new friend!!
