Meet sweet Heidi! The kind man Heidi had known as her Dad all her little life had to move across the country a year or more ago and was unable to keep Heidi with him. He thought Heidi had gone to another loving home, but during the recent holidays Heidi was found running down the road and her original Dad was contacted…the microchip had never been changed and it was sadly found that the new family hadn’t had Heidi’s best interest at heart.

Heidi's grown human sister went and got her but was in the process of moving to another home where she couldn’t have Heidi. Even though Heidi is being cared for, but has limited time in the house where she’s living and needs a new loving home quickly.

She is an active 10 years old who, even though older, loves to play fetch and chase her toys.  She loves nothing more than to snuggle in her bed under a blanket!  She’s potty trained and has never needed crating because her behavior is so good.  She is fine with other dogs, and doesn’t mind cats at all! She’s a good little girl and a very loving pet. 

Heidi’s sister would love nothing more than to keep her, having been her Dad’s baby who has made her feel closer to her Dad with him living so far away now…but she can’t for uncontrollable reasons, and has said the only way she can be at peace with parting with her is to know someone will give her another safe and loving home.
