Update:  Gwen has bloomed into one of the most beautiful and sweetest girls on the planet.  She is a happy and loving little princess that deserves only the best.  She is great with people, knows no strangers and believes that everyone is there to just be with her!  She is good with other dogs, is clean in the house and uses the doggie door when she needs to go outside.  We believe she would be ok with older children and fine with other dogs in the home.  She loves to get on the couch and sometimes sits up high on the back of it where she can better survey her room!  Gwen is a super special girl that came from a terrible beginning.  That ordeal seems like ancient history now and Gwen is happily on the mend.  She is working on her girlish figure and should be losing that puppy weight and feeling stronger everyday!  Gwen is a special girl that deserves the very best!


Origin - Gwen was found on the side of the road, in distress from her pregnancy.  Her water had broken and she was in the process of trying to deliver a stillborne oversized puppy.  Caught in the birth canal, it was a race to get her to a vet in time to save her life.  Thanks to the quick work on the local animal control officers, Gwen (named for one of her Angels) was whisked away to our friends at Safari and an emergency C-Section was performed.  She was spayed at the same time and remained in the hospital for several days regaining her strength.  

That ordeal seems like ancient history now and Gwen is happily on the mend.  She is working on her girlish figure and should be losing that puppy weight and feeling stronger everyday!  Stay tuned as we find out more about Gwen's personality and her vaccine and heartworm status.
