Beautiful Piper was surrendered by the family she’d known as her own for her entire 12 years. After small children started coming along, Piper being a senior girl accustomed to living with well-behaved adults didn’t mix well with tiny two-legged siblings. According to the family who tearfully surrendered her to ATDR, Piper is a wonderful sweet girl who deserves to be a part of another loving adult home and not have to deal with small children or live underneath the big bed to avoid them. What a difficult thing to happen to a grand lady like Piper and a difficult decision for a family to have to make.
Piper has always loved comfortably lounging peacefully on the family couch, snuggling in her person’s lap or next to her person’s leg underneath a blanket. Piper deserves to live in peace again and not have to keep one eye open for little 2-legged intruders she’s better off fleeing from!
If you’re looking for a lovely senior girl to love and share relaxing time with, please submit an adoption application for Piper! She would be the best little companion a grown person could ever hope to find.
