Meet Guero, pronounced “Wear-O”! Sadly, this precious boy had to be surrendered to ATDR because his beloved Mom was stricken with severe health issues and could no longer care for him. What a sad thing to happen…ATDR’s hearts went out to both of them and the wheels were quickly in motion to help this precious guy. Guero is as sweet and loving as he is handsome, getting along great with people, other dogs and even kitty cats! He loves playing with other dogs, going for car rides and absolutely ADORES snuggling with his human! He walks well on a leash although he’s a little unsure of everything and mostly anxious to go back home, but in time he’s sure to become more comfortable with his surroundings. He’s very laid back, easy going and smart and will sit on command. He’s fully pottie trained and has good food etiquette.

Guero will be perfect for someone who wants to give love and be loved in return, being an extremely devoted pet.  He will need to have at least one other dog in the house. He has severe anxiety that is only calmed with being with another dog.He would love to have a forever home where his human is home a lot. He’s not crate trained but is fully trustworthy and has done great in his foster home without one. All in all Guero is a wonderful boy!
