Say hello to ME.....Ginger Snap! Can you even imagine I was at the shelter?!?!  ATDR immediately came to my rescue and took me straight to my foster Mom's arms.  I was very sad to hear I had stinky heartworms and would need to have icky treatment, but I am partway thru it and so far I have done really well.....paws crossed!!

Although I have been nervous around other people, I was instantly in love with my foster mom and she proclaimed me a precocious little princess.  She also says I am flirty and full of myself, but I am so precious and clever she does not care.  As proof of my brilliance, I am both doggie door and potty pad trained.  When meeting new people I am very shy for a while.  I take a little bit to warm up to women and I have not been around men much so they make me nervous but I will hang around for treats when foster dad brings them out on the couch. Once I get to know someone and have another dog to show me it is ok, I love getting snuggled and petted.  I am very tiny and quick as a flash and can slip thru small spaces....I have blazing speed....but I am nervous on a leash.....so my foster mom says I must have a very secure yard to play in.  I LOVE other dogs and look to them for security and teaching so I really need a furiend in my new home.  

Because of my delicate size, I need home without small children. Responsible, older kids are ok if they will give me treats and be gentle.  If you’re looking for a bundle of joy to steal your heart, wrap you around a paw, and never leave you with a dull moment please submit an adoption application ME!!!  Maybe you will get to be my forever family some time after the New Year!!
