Say hello to Kimmy! This beautiful girl was surrendered to ATDR and we’re so glad we can help her find the right loving home. She’s currently being cared for in a comfortable foster home where her foster mom reports that she is a bit shy with new people, but her inner social butterfly comes out quickly, saying she probably kissed everyone she met on the day she was spayed! She can be a little stubborn about going outside sometimes, but she is SWEET, SWEET, SWEET!!! She has been a bit overbearing with the tiny senior Chihuahuas in her foster home, so it would be good to watch her carefully if you have little ones. She has done fine with the bigger dogs, i.e., 7 pounds and up and does enjoy the other dogs in the house. However, she needs some work on her “play style” and that should improve with fewer dogs in a forever home and/or with another confident dog. Kimmy does need a doggy friend living with her.
Kimmy very treat oriented, but not too many please... She’s a super nice dog. Her foster mom has been working with her house training and she needs to stay on a regular schedule.
If you’re looking for a best friend and companion to share life with, please submit an adoption application for Kimmy. She would love you more than you might ever imagine!
