Chance was taken to a kill shelter in North Texas by his "loving" family. He was scheduled for euthanasia when a "good samaritan" stepped in to save him.  This family then turned him over to ATDR since they already had their limit of two rescued dachshunds.  The vet believes Chance is between 1 and 2 years old. He is a gorgeous boy!  He is neutered, housetrained, and crate trained! He walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. He loves to play with Cody, an ATDR foster puppy.  He would LOVE to be Cody's brother! Chance plays fetch with a ball and sits on command. He weighs 13 lbs. and is a tweenie size. He has a beautiful black/tan smooth coat.  When would you like to meet him???
