Description:

Say hello to Daisy. This precious little Chiweenie girl came into rescue with her sister Sweetie when their beloved Dad passed away, leaving them with family members who could not keep them. These two sweet babies miss their Dad, but ATDR placed them in a loving foster home where they’re being well cared for.

Daisy is a lively girl…do not let her adorable frosty face fool you! She loves ear scratches, back scratches, and is quick to let you know she is not done being scratched. She is ready to follow her people everywhere all the time, and loves walks so much she will talk to you to get you up and moving so she can help you get your steps in! Daisy is great on leash, needs at least a mile walk every day, and  is always ready to join you for a car ride. She uses ramps to access furniture and the big bed, where she sleeps through the night in her own little bed. Daisy knows how to use the doggie door to go out and do her business, but she prefers company for trips outdoors after dark. Even though Daisy came from a quiet adult home, she enjoys entertaining calm children. Daisy will need to be fed kibble soaked and softened in water for life because of missing teeth.

7.6.22 Update: Daisy's foster mom reports that she did enjoy spending time with grandchildren ages 12 to 17, so good with gentle, respectful kids.

If you’re looking for precious senior girl to share a warm lap and comfortable chair with, please submit an adoption application for little Daisy. She’s such a good baby, eager to please, and would love you more than you could ever imagine.
