Meet Sam, affectionally known at the vet's as fat Sam. He came to us a little bit chubby weighing almost 25 lbs. He is doing well and enjoying his foster home where his activity has increased a lot and he is look very handsome and trim. He is a standard, so a much bigger boy than most. Sam came to us as a grumpy boy with very little to be happy about. An abusive family relationship kept Sam worried and anxious most of the time and he suffered a lot of stress from that family situation. One year later Sam is being adopted and he is living his best life, thanks to ATDR and a much improved family life.
We celebrate the great life that Sam has worked hard to get and to his foster home where he learned love and security, the ease and company of other dachshund relationships where he is a far happier and more social boy than he was one year ago. Sam is a great success story!
