Description:
Are you looking for two of the sweetest, most loving little girls ever? Well, look no more! Blue (named for her one blue eye) and Daisy Mae are your girls. They are more than adorable with lots of energy to spare. Those tails go 90 miles an hour and they are very friendly with other small dogs. These girls are a bonded pair and look for each other when they are separated. They sleep through the night curled up together. House training is in progress, but they are accustomed to using piddle pads, so that’s a big plus. A possible accident waiting to happen: both these girls are accomplished jumpers, so keep the toilet lids down! Lol They haven’t barked much (dachshunds that don’t bark much??), but will voice their opinion when necessary.
They have been in an all-adult home all their lives, but would probably do well with older, well-mannered kids. Not sure about cats or large dogs. They love exploring the yard, so a safely fenced in yard is a huge plus.
Sadly, their lives changed when their beloved dad had to move to a facility where dogs are not allowed. ATDR has vowed to find them another loving home where they can be happy together again.
Blue is a beautiful silver dapple and has the cutest cowlick on the back of her head running down her neck. You can hold her like a baby, and she loves the attention.
If you’re looking for a precious pair to share all good things in life with, please submit an adoption application for Blue and Daisy Mae. They are ready and waiting to feel loved and secure again.
