Lex is a super sweet little fellow who was found as a stray up in Oklahoma. He is finishing up his heartworm treatment and should be ready to find his forever family at the end of August. He is very friendly, and snuggly. Lex has super speed and with his longer legs that adds up to the ability to leap tall buildings....and fences and gates and playpens and tables. He doesn't really KNOW he can but when motivated by his desire to chase a squirrel or be with his human he can accomplish his goal so only a solid 6 foot (minium) fence for this boy. Luckily he does fabulous in his crate so he can be safe and sound when nobody is home. If he hears a noise he definately lets everyone know, so an apartment would probalby not be his best home.

Lex dearly loves to cuddle and after his initial excitment of being in a lap he will curl up under your chin or right next to you and never leave your side. He is a very sweet little boy with a very sweet personality and loves everyone he meets. He is doing great with other dogs and really pays them no mind so he would be fine with a buddy or as an only dog. He has a high prey drive though, so no cats or pocket pets. Because he is so sweet he will probably be great with kids but because of his speed and ability to slip past, only older kids who can pay attention to door habits will be suitable.

Lex is an all-around precious boy. If you are looking for a loving companion who will worship you, you will want to meet this fellow. And as a bonus, if you like to train agility dogs.....Lex may definately be your guy!!
