Meet Bat! This little senior fella found himself in a shelter after his owners did something they shouldn't and ended up on an extended court ordered vacation at a county "resort"! ATDR could not say no to this super sweet, frightened little man who is now so glad to be in a comfortable, loving foster home where he has settled in. He gets along very well with everybody in the house, including four-legged canine foster siblings and even the resident kitty cat whose scratching pad he immediately claimed as his own to relax on! Bat has quickly found his way up on the sofa to snuggle next to his foster dad...bouncing up and down saying "Pick me up! Pick me up!" in universal doggy language! Who could deny this precious little one who has a tail that never stops wagging!

Bat is currently receiving veterinary care he's been deprived of in his former life and then he'll be ready to check out applications in search of the perfect forever home!

7.28.23 UPDATE: Sadly, Bat has a mouth full of rotten and infected teeth and is facing extensive dental work.
