Say hello to Toby. Sadly for this fellow, he was surrendered to ATDR by his owners and is now sharing life in a foster home. Even though he’s being well loved and cared for, he can’t understand what happened to cause him to lose the only home he’s ever known because of a toddler, who have encroached on what has always been his territory. It’s going to be okay Toby, because ATDR has vowed to find the best forever home out there for you.

Toby’s former family reports that he is very friendly with humans but can grow irritated with much younger children. Around other dogs, he is quite timid initially but has gotten along well with some smaller females. For the most part, he's perfectly content to lounge around the house and burrow under blankets while still enjoying the occasional walk.

Toby’s veterinary care is currently being brought up to speed. If you’re looking for a companion to love and share a good life with, please submit an adoption application for Toby.
