Thelma's sister, Louise (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Description:
Say hello to Thelma! She and her sister Louise were only a few weeks old when they came to a kind lady in the Spring Branch area of Houston on March 14, 2024 where they are now being well loved and cared for. They are good with other dogs and love playing with the resident kitty cat. Both of them are very sweet, lovable, playful, silly and precious beyond words! Their foster mom says they are a joy and a hoot! They’ve had their first set of shots, will have their second soon and have been wormed twice. They are crate trained and have not had an accident in the crate in over six weeks pretty much being puppy pad trained. They are now in search of wonderful forever homes.
Their story is that a street rescuer went to pick up five puppies from a home where she met the mom who is a Yorkie and their dad who was a Toy Poodle. While standing there talking to the lady surrendering them, the dad and three of the puppies crossed a four-lane street to go to the park. Unfortunately they were all tragically hit by a car and didn’t make it. The street rescuer picked up their little bodies in order to give them proper burials, quickly got the two remaining little girls and immediately took them to the kind lady in Spring Branch where they would be kept safe.
Due to their delicate sizes, these babies should only go to an adult home or a home with gentle children old enough to handle them carefully. Sooo, if you’re looking for a tiny treasure…or maybe two…to share the good things in life with, please submit an adoption application for either or both Thelma and Louise. These darling little Yorkipoo girls are bursting at the seams to fill your days with laughter and love while sharing this exciting thing called life with you!
