Coney's mother, Mina (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Description:
Coney was abandoned outside in a yard with several other dogs to fend for themselves when their people moved somewhere else…it was a while before someone noticed that they were on their own, foraging for anything to eat with no shelter from the horrific storms in April into May. When a kind lady called, of course ATDR came to Coney’s rescue and the rescue of his mother Mina who can also be seen on this website.
Coney is a little doll…the sweetest boy ever…sadly, he has a congenital deformity of the back right leg. ATDR had him evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon to determine what could be done and two vets recommended amputation. The surgery was done on the 12th and he will be coming home this weekend! He is already walking on three legs and hopefully will find it easier to maneuver than than the leg he used like a peg.
Care like Coney needs and received is very costly. If you would like to help us help Coney, please go to the left hand side of this page to the Donate button or send a check or money order to the P. O. Box above it. No amount could ever be too small and every dollar will be appreciated by Coney and ATDR.
