Description:
Buddy was found running down the feeder of a major highwway after the Independence Day celcebration. A great rescuer followed him for a mile or more and was able to grab him and bring him to safety. This sweet boy was so grateful and it took him several days to decompress from being out in the rain between 4th of July and the hurricane. Good save!!! Buddy is happy and loves everyone -- he is great with other dogs and seems to know he is loved. Unfortunately he tested high heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon; he should be ready to go by the end of September or first of October.
