Buttercup says “Hi there World”! A cuter nor more darling puppy never existed! She was found as a stray and taken to an animal shelter. How does anyone lose a tiny little pup like Buttercup! ATDR quickly retrieved her the weekend of Hurricane Beryl and she’s been in a comfortable foster home since being well loved, enjoyed and appropriately spoiled!
She's precious beyond words while being extremely busy, anxiously curious and enamored with everyone and everything around her. She does well with all the bigger dachshunds in her foster home and is willing to potty outside in a safe area when taken out and supervised on a regular schedule. She LOVES LOVES LOVES squeaky toys and safe things to play with. She eats well but believes mealtime is to be shared as a family…she insists on having her person sit with her while she dines; otherwise, she won’t touch her food! She’s crate trained, sleeping sweetly in a comfy little bed with a soft blanket and her little toy friends at night! She has a ways to go before she’s a perfect canine citizen, but for her age, she’s a good little girl! She’s small and definitely needs to be handled carefully!
If you’re looking for a tiny treasure who gives sweet kisses to steal your heart and keep you on your toes and smiling, please submit an adoption application for Buttercup! She’s wide-eyed and anxious to explore this exciting thing called life with someone who will love, protect and be good to her!
