Morgan is 3-4 yrs old and was within 30 minutes of being euthanized when he was discovered in an East Texas shelter by one of our volunteers. Morgan has demodectic mange and heartworms so he wasn't a candidate for adoption. His immune system is weakened so we'll work with our vet to treat the mange first, then once he's strong enough we'll treat the heartworms. We cried when we saw pictures of this little guy; he looked so sad and had given up on anyone caring about him. But after a medicated bath, some good food and a soft bed to sleep in every night ,Morgan has already perked up, wags his tail and even barks and jumps around when his foster mom takes him out to do his business. Morgan has a long road ahead of him as he recovers and we'll post updates as things progress.
