Hazel's companion, Hannah (available for adoption) can also be seen on our website.
Description:
Hazel says hello! She and her companion Hannah came into rescue when their human mom passed away and the vet convinced their dad to surrender them because he suffers health problems and has difficulty caring for these senior ladies. Both girls are now sharing life in a comfortable ATDR foster home, being well loved and cared for. Their foster mom says they are both as sweet as can be and get along well with the humans and other pups in the house. Even though they came into rescue together, they can be adopted together or not, but if not, they each need another doggy friend in their new home.
Hazel is a 10-year-old house-trained sweet LOVELY girl who loves all the peoples…big, little, male, female. She’s crate trained although she doesn’t love it but goes in willingly for treats. She’s very much a foodie so be careful about over feeding her so that she doesn’t put on unneeded weight. She has a bit of separation anxiety that seems to be handled better if crated when left alone or with another dog. Hazel really enjoys having a canine playmate. She lives for a daily walk to hunt for squirrels! This girl is the absolute best!
If you’re looking for the perfect companion and best friend to share all the good things in life with, please submit an adoption application for Hazel. She will steal your heart and love you more than you could ever imagine.
