Charlie is a very handsome chocolate and tan male about 13lbs. He was recently surrendered by a family because they were overwhelmed and unable to take care of him.  Charlie is a sweet and gentle soul, good with dogs and loved his cat sibling. He has been nothing but pleasant in his foster home and easy going with his new foster siblings.  

Charlie was neutered and had surgery for a bladder stone!  He recovered quickly but it is recommended that he stay on prescription urinary food that will help prevent crystals (Struvites) in his urine that lead to stones!  Any adopter must be will to continue that practice and the small expense of Rx dog food.  Charlie will be looking for the best home possible so that he can begin to enjoy all the best things in life. We highly recommend a companion for Charlie, he'd be happiest in a home with another dog or cat. He loves the outdoors and is good on a leash! 
Charlie would prefer a home with no small children, school age kids are ok but no toddlers, dropping food along his way...
