Piper is a fabulous 2-3 yr old, black and white piebald female who was rescued with a herd of other dogs from a rural puppymill. She is playful and puppylike and enjoying life the way that she might never have known if she hadn't been part of a cruelty seizure! Piper is great with other dogs and loves to play and run around the house with her foster buddies. She is learning some house manners but doesn't quite have the hang of it - but has finally learned the doggie door so we have high hopes in the direction of housetraining! Piper is fully vetted and looking for a forever home! She tested light heartworm positive and we would like to keep her on Heartworm prevention for six months and retest her - in hopes that she may then test negative and not have to go through extensive and difficult heartworm treatment. ATDR would take responsibiltiy for her treatment if she does test postive later in the year.
