My name is Hershey and here's my story. I was cold, lonely and in so much pain when my rescuers saved me. Until that day I had lived my "life" being forced to have litter after litter of puppies in the filthy environment of a backyard breeder. This was the only life I knew before I was rescued. My big beautiful eyes convey the extent of my pain and of my desire for a better life. I'm hunched over because my back is injured and right now I'm unable to walk, but my new family, the people at ATDR, promise me it will feel better soon. You see, with proper vet care, accupuncture and rehabilitation the orthopedic specialist believes I'll be able to walk again, free from pain.
