Ruby is a mini red dilute dachshund. That means she has a brown nose, very light brown belly and light brown eyes. She is beautiful!  Ruby is a shy, active little girl who has trust issues. She is housetrained, responds to her name, is heartworm negative, and ready for her forever home!!! Ruby gets along great with other dachshunds and likes to play, play, play all day! She needs a confident playmate, and a patient, calm, experienced dachshund owner. Ruby responds well to a quiet home even though she stirs things up with her play! Ruby rides well in a car, outside of a crate. Ruby does not chew or tear up toys! She would rather wrestle with the dachshunds!!! You could say she's a dog's dog! She has no trust issues with other dogs and since she has shown great progress in her foster home, we believe she will learn to trust people again. Give her a little time and Ruby will love your unconditionally!
