My name is Annabelle, and I was dumped at the shelter with a note saying I wasn't wanted anymore. Actually, I'm thankful my owners did that because they didn't take care of me very well and now that I am with my foster mom, I know what it's like to be loved and given the care that I need.
I like taking walks and taking sun baths in the yard. I am also really good in my crate and will burrow underneath my blanket and all foster mom can see is my nose sticking out.
My favorite thing to do is to run and fetch my stuffed toys and play tug. I run circles around my foster mom when she comes into the room to see me and when she picks me up, I give her lots and lots of kisses. I am a little afraid of men, but I think in time I might not be that way.
I am spayed and current on all my vaccinations, but I won't be ready to go to a forever home until sometime in July because I am taking medicine for my skin problem and I am being treated for heartworms. I will feel so much better inside and out when I am ready to be adopted. I would love to have a family waiting for me when I am well. Won't you please put my name on an application and promise to love me forever?
