Caster is one of the sweetest little doxies to come around! He has the shortest, cutest little legs and a beautiful deep red coat and a super personality. He loves to cuddle his people, explore the backyard (if it is not wet or cold), and play with his foster brothers. He can be quiet in his crate but much prefers to snuggle in the big bed!! He is the smallest and stillest little bed sleeper at night as if he is soooo worried someone might discover him and put him in a doggie bed!!! *gasp* He loves being with his people pack so much he has even discovered how to open his crate and appear out of nowhere much to everyone's surprise! He comes right out and hops into one of the big, soft, fluffy beds on the floor by the couch and promptly falls asleep upside down with his short little legs poked up in the air!!!! Little Caster was found as a stray and, as commonly happens in Texas, that means he had to have heartworm treatment, which he has sailed right thru. He is a happy, friendly little boy and is ready for his new home. Because he is such a small fry, Caster has asked for a home with no small children. He also says he is kind of sad to be alone all day so he would like to have a doggie buddy to snuggle with while his people are at work. If you do not already have another dog looking for a friend, and are intrested in adopting TWO doxies, we might suggest also adopting Fresno. They were cell mates together at the shelter for 6 weeks and have been in the same foster home since June. They are good friends and both are sweet, adorable little dogs with friendly, playful personalities!!
