Meet Freckles - she is a petite red piebald beauty who is so happy to be in rescue!  Her life has taken a swing towards the positive and she hopes never to be on the street alone again.  Freckles was found covered in fleas and very thin and feverish.  After a week of care she is enjoying the good life and loves to snuggle into those soft and fluffy blankets!  These and some great groceries will surely make her one happy girl!   Freckles is a very active and playful girl with almost a puppy quality.  She adores having other dogs to play with, chase and wrestle.  She may be small but she is a firecracker!  She also loves chasing toys and tugging her blanket out of her bed all around the floor!!  Little Freckles is heavy heartworm positive and will not be available to adopt for a while.  To be safe, her heartworm treatment must go very slowly due to her size and the heavy positive test results.  If you think you've got a spot in your heart for this little angel and some patience to wait for her, consider an application for adoption.
