Beautiful mother-to-be, Delilah, was scared and all alone in a San Antonio shelter about to give birth.  Fortunately, ATDR pulled Delilah and got her into a foster home just in time for her to bring 6 puppies, 3 boys and 6 girls, into a safe, warm, loving home.  Her babies are ready now to begin their own lives away from Mom, and for Delilah to begin her new life in a forever home.  Delilah is an absolute sweetheart.  She is great around other dogs, has not been exposed to cats, and is great with kids.  She may have had a bit of a rough life before she was rescued as she is a little shy at first or if she thinks she’s in trouble, but once you let her know you are not going to hurt her, she’s great.  She is fully potty trained.  Unfortunately, she is heartworm positive and will begin her treatment near the end of September, but soon will be ready to begin her new life as well.   If you would like to make the dream of having a forever home come true for Mama Delilah, please fill out an online application for her or any of her puppies, Sherlock, Dagwood, Schnookie, Shirley, Blondie, and/or Lucy.
