Ruby was an owner surrender to a kill shelter in Texas where she arrived with her four pups! She is only about 2 yrs old but has had a rough time of it and is still facing heartworm treatment and a spay! Ruby is a beautiful small standard female that just wants to rest up after weaning her pups. Ruby won't be available for some time but if you would like to contribute to her vet care it would be much appreciated! Stayed tuned for more information on Ruby to come...

Update September 24, 2007: Ruby has recovered remarkably well after being spayed. She is a beautiful, happy, loving, energetic girl. She is incredibly people oriented and loves to be wherever her people are, a real lovebug. She would do best in a home with a medium to high energy level. Ruby loves to walk and run. She's very athletic. We suspect she will make a great running companion after her heartworm treatment is completed. More on Ruby in the months to come...
