Ginger is a red smooth mini girl who obviously ran away from a bad situation. But she didn't find the home she was looking for. She first had to spend time in a kill shelter. ATDR rescued Ginger on the day that her euthanasia was scheduled. She is heartworm negative, spayed, had a dental, and has had all vaccines. Ginger walks with a limp and ATDR has had her leg radiographed twice. Surgery can't repair her leg. We think she was injured and not taken to a vet's office where she could be treated. So, Ginger takes an inexpensive version of Rimadyl once daily and is able to walk without obvious discomfort. Ginger gets along with other dogs and uses the doggie door. She's not revealing her true age, but we're guessing she's around six years old. She loves belly rubs!!!! She sleeps in her own bed at night, but would love to sleep in the big bed. She's a quiet dog who would love a quiet home where she can be a princess!!! Ginger is fostered in North Texas.
