When Greta was dumped at a Texas shelter by her family, not only was she pregnant, she had heartworms. We got her out of there and into a foster home where she safely delivered her puppies. After the puppies were weaned, she went through heartworm treatment. Now she is healthy and doing great. Greta is very sweet and loving. She has a cheerful attitude, gets along with other dogs, and loves affection from her people. One of her favorite things is to snuggle next to you in a chair or on the big bed. She is learning to walk on a leash and to be patient with taking turns for food and affection. She uses a pet door and is housetrained! Greta does have a high prey drive and will need to go to a home with no cats!
