Pippin just received flying colors from his first vet visit since his rescue. The shelter contacted us when they ran out of room and had him on the list to be put him down to make room for others. His owner was diagnosed with a brain tumor and could not care for him any longer. The kill shelter recognized that this little fellow would make an awesome pet and contacted us to help. Although he does not look or act his age, Pip is full of energy and loves to play. His owner clearly spent time with him as he is housetrained, knows sit and also does a crazy circle dance when he gets excited. He loves to play fetch with his toy and when a door opens he waits for command, never darting out. His foster home has several other doxies and Pippin does great with each one, boys and girls alike. He is not around cats at his foster home, but his owner told the shelter he does ok with them too. He loves attention and will follow his foster mommy and daddy everywhere.
Pippin, a spunky boy, is heartworm negative and has had all his shots…. just waiting on his new family to come and get him.
