Description:
Forsythia, aka Flo and her mate, Wiesner were taken to a Wal Mart parking lot to be dumped.  Thankfully on of our volunteers happened to be there, saw it happen and immediately scooped them up.  Flo has been estimated to be 6-7 years old. She is totally crate trained and 99% housetrained.  She gets along well with  both  dogs and cats and loves to chase squirrels.
When we first got Flo and Weisner the foster home started working on separating them to see how they would do and they did just fine without each other. Unfortunately Flo was heartworm positive when she arrived and she is in treatment now.  She will be available for adoption in mid April. She would make a great companion dog for anyone looking for an enoyable, quiet close friend.
