Hello, my name is Moxie Doxie! OK, I need a new home and I don't know what I did wrong. I gave my family eight years of devotion. One day, I felt like a loved dachshund and the next day I was dumped out of a moving car. I just don't understand! Now that I've recovered from the shock of being rejected, I am ready to try and love again. I am a gorgeous red standard dachshund. You know, I'm the size dachshunds were meant to be! I am quite the lady. I am perfectly housetrained, don't bark much, and don't jump on your leg. I love belly rubs and head rubs and back rubs, well, I love petting!! I will sleep in my own bed at night or will be happy to sleep with you. I love bundling up in my blankie and having you look for me. It's my game because I don't play fetch! If you want a slightly older, tail wagging gal, then I'm the dachsie for you. I would prefer to be the only lady and no young children, please. I am being fostered in North Texas.
