Hi, I'm Holly. The official ATDR 2007 Christmas Pup! My foster mom calls me HollyBerry. My birthday is sometime from December to February so I just turned 1 in there somewhere. I am a little mixey, but nobody minds. I am @ 16 lbs and long like a doxie but with longer legs and shorter ears. I herd my foster siblings around, nibbling their heels to get them going, so I think I might be something like part Border Collie! My siblings love me and play with me as much as I want! I love to play chase and tug-a-toy with them too. I think I would like a new home with another dog to play with, but kids would be ok too. I am still kind of young myself and learning some basic manners, but I am calm and quiet when I am supposed to be and trying hard to learn my commands.
Mom says I am so pretty and snuggly. My fur is medium length and so shiny and soft. I sure do like to snuggle and be petted!!! I like to sleep on my back in mom's lap, that way I get tummy rubs too. I am pretty quiet unless there is something that needs chasing off.
Sometimes I am a little shy, even with people I know. And although I do like everyone I meet, strangers take a tad warming up to with yummy treats and snuggling. I sleep quietly in my crate while Mom is at work and at night. I would prefer to sleep in the bed..…I am really good at sneaking and hiding under the bed covers every night before I get caught.
I have gotten all my shots and tests and had my surgery so I am ready to go! I am a very, very good girl and hope you will think so too!
