Meet Austin and Dallas two wild and crazy guys!   These two sweeties were dropped over the fence in the side yard in the Waco pound with two adult dachshunds.  During the hottest week of the summer, Austin and Dallas were filthy dirty and covered in fleas but more than happy when someone brought them inside and called ATDR.  Life is about to take a serious turn for the better for these cute boys! 

Dallas is such a sweet little thing. It was obvious when he first got here that he was not use to living in a home environment. Really wasn't sure what to make of anything. He opened up very quickly though and is curious about everything. He hasn't met a person yet that he doesn't like. He loves playing with his brother Austin and foster brother. Just starting to figure out how to play with toys, wasn't sure what to make of them at first. He likes greeting and kissing the kids when they get home from school. What he loves to do most is sit on Foster Moms lap and cuddle and give and get kisses. He is doing really well with house training, been a few accidents, but he is getting there. He listens really well, comes when called, and is learning to stop when told no.. He is sleeping in his crate at night, but really likes sleeping in the big bed. Been taking naps there during the day with his brothers and Foster Mom, and would love to stay there at night, but puts up no fuss going in to his crate and sleeping. So if you have an open lap or extra room on yours,  then Dallas would be more then glad to fill it and give you lots of love.
