Description: Grover is brand new to rescue and being fostered in the DFW area! Grover was found runnning loose in Burleson. He had decided to go to church at Oak Grove Baptist that day, hanging out all day with the staff and members as they came and went hence his name, Grover. His owners could not be located after much word of mouth and signage searching and so he has ended up in the ATDR fold of rescued dachshunds.
Mr. Grover's sweet grin with his mild underbite will make you smile every time. He is very quiet and calm. Loving to sit in your lap quietly napping or following you around the house just to be a part of your life. He gets along beautifully well with other dogs and other than the occasional play session ignores the cat. He loves people and kids are just fine with him. He loves sleeping in the big bed but is fine spending the night in his crate if that's your preference. In his foster home, Mom says Grover is the calmest and quietest of the bunch. He's so very sweet and gets along with everyone beautifully.
Grover is fully vaccinated, neutered and ready for adoption. He is a precious little man and will make a wonderful addition to your family.
