Chewy is a miniature smooth red male about a year old who was turned in by his owners. This isn't an uncommon thing in rescue, but to find one that is in such bad shape that was someone's pet is pretty hard to imagine. This little guy only weighs 7.6 lbs and is afraid of his shadow. He is fearful of men and runs and hides when there is too much noise or excitement. He is finally starting to eat a bit and his foster mom is being fairly creative with his meal planning. Chewy will need to learn to trust in humans again and this may take a little time. He is sweet and like velcro to his foster mom and taking one day at a time.
