Roxie is a red doxie female. She is housetrained, loves to snuggle, walks on a leash and plays keep away with dog toys. She is very attention needy and doesn't take well to being in a crate. She has been around other small dogs and does well with them. (basically ignores them) She is very unsure of larger dogs (One of my daughters has a 200lb mastif!). She barks when first meeting people, but does smell their feet and then accepts them. Have never heard her growl at anyone, except when she plays tug-o-war with a toy. Has never snapped! Is not food aggressive.
Roxie has been around kids/grandkids and does great with them petting, kissing, belly rubbing from them. Wherever I go, she is my shadow. She has a gentle mouth when giving her treats! She rides in a car and is eager to hop in. She does want to sit on the sofas next to a body and sleeps under the covers in my bed next to me or my husband.. She will wake you to let her go out during the night for her "business".
Roxie has had at least one litter of puppies within the last 3-5 months, according to the vet. She needs to be around people, so would do best with a stay-at-home mom/dad or a retired couple that would love to take her on walks. Going on walks is her favorite thing. She really enjoys her walks in the morning and evening! Roxie sounds perfect - consider filling out the application!
