Abby Rose, also known as Rosie, is a gorgeous mini smooth dachshund with the "wild boar" coloring. She is heartworm negative, has been spayed, received a light dental, and has received all vaccines. Rosie is crate trained and housetrained to a doggie door. This is a requirement for her new home. She gets along well with other dachshunds and loves to play outside. She would enjoy having a companion dachshund. When she wants something, she "talks" to get her human's attention.  She is a little wary of strangers and will bark at them for a few minutes. Rosie enjoys sleeping in her own bed at night or in the bed of her family. She gives kisses and enjoys being cuddled. Rosie walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She is being fostered in North Texas and would prefer a home in the Dallas area.
