Description:
Meet Rockie, he is the sweetest little dog! He is a bit shy and can be a little timid but super sweet. He loves to be with you and snuggle on the couch or chair for some TV time and he loves his belly rubbed. He loves to be with his people, and he loves everyone! When he feels comfortable he will sleep in the big bed but he usually chooses to sleep in his crate. He is crate trained and housebroken. He LOVES toys! He loves to play by himself with all the toys in the toy basket or he will play tug of war with the other dogs and he loves to fetch (he may not bring it back but he loves to chase anything). Rockie does well with grooming; bath, ears and nails, but will try and escape from the bath if he gets a chance. Rockie would even do well as a companion dog for a retired person as he loves his foster grandmother and jumped right in her lap the instant he saw her.

So how did a dog this great end up in rescue? Rockie is a great dog and is in rescue through no fault of his own. His family he had been with all his life had some major life changes and thought it best that ATDR find a deserving loving home for Rockie and his brother Blackie. These boys do not have to be adopted together, but if you are looking for a pair we have the perfect set ready to go to their new forever home.
