Description: Fiona (and her mother Flora) were turned into the Austin Animal Control by the owner.
Fiona is a sweet doll and will play with toys in spurts, but she is really a little cuddler who loves to be snuggled. She is a good girl on car rides and also sleeping in her crate. She loves to be with her person and in their lap. Our goal was for her to be adopted with her mother, but heartbreakingly that is no longer possible. Fiona gets along with every dog she has met and will need a home with another small dog that will give her the companionship she has lost since her mother flew over the Rainbow. Fiona is really a darling and extremely sweet and loving girl who loves to be with her people. She would be happy with retired or stay at home parents or will nap quietly in her crate until her parents come home from work. She would probably do wfine with calm, gentle kids over 8 years old (we have never had her around kids but she has a very gentle disposition herself)
UPDATE 07/10/15 Fiona's mom Flora is currently on Medical Sponsorship Status due to a major surgery she is having on July 21st. (Please visit her Bio to learn more). Our hope is the surgery will be a success and once she is healed, Flora will be able to find a forever home with her daughter Fiona.
UPDATE 12/29/15 Fiona's mom Flora was not able to have surgery. She flew over the Rainbow today after her illness progressed. Fiona is doing ok and will still be looking for a forever home that has another dog for companionship since she has never been an only dog and depended on her mom.
