Adrienne was rescued in West Texas with her mom Cutie and sister Jolie. She is a happy, active puppy of about 7 months.  She is just a little wiggle worm--she gets so excited,  she is just in constant  motion. She gets along well with other dogs. She loves to play with toys, especially chew toys, but she has not engaged in any destructive chewing. She is very affectionate and loves to be  held--she will lay her head on your shoulder and nuzzle your neck. She will sit in your lap for a moment until her puppy curiosity gets the best of her and she is off on another adventure. She loves to explore the outdoors--when she is let out first thing in the morning she leaps across the threshold like a gazelle and is gone in a flash. She will bark to let you know someone is at the door but otherwise she is not noisy. She is progressing very well with her crate training. She is now able to sleep through the night without any accidents. When it is mealtime she heads straight for the crate and bounces inside.
 
Adrienne is spayed and heartworm negative. She has a wiry coat and has the cutest blonde-colored topknot that makes her even more adorable. Not tested with kids or cats. If you want a playful puppy that is past the difficult stages of puppiness, she is your girl.

UPDATE 06/03/13 - ADORABLE Adrienne, the wheaten wirehair mix, is letting more of  her personality show--and it is a huge one!  She is extremely playful with the other dogs, she loves to wrestle and play chase  most of all.  She is quite an athlete--she can jump up on incredibly high surfaces with no effort whatsoever.  She is also an avid swimmer, or at least wader--every  morning when she is let out, she heads straight for the wading pool and takes a turn in there before she is off on further adventures.  When she is played-out she is all sweetness and cuddles. Adrienne loves to snuggle and nuzzle your neck. She is very well crate trained.  She does
enjoy de-stuffing her toys and bed, so she is sleeping on a blankie until she is a little less interested in examining the innards of all her squishy stuff.  
 
Adrienne is cute as a button, perky, playful  and loving. She is waiting to start her new life in YOUR home where she will be a constant source  entertainment and love.
