Hi I am Baby Abbie. I am 7 months old. My siblings and I got rescued from a shelter and unbenounced to our foster family we were really sick. Within two days we were admitted to the puppy hospital with Parvo. I was the sickest of the bunch, according to the vets. Unfortunately, my siblings went to puppy heaven. I remained in the puppy hospital for several days and once sent home, my foster mom had a hard time getting me to eat. I just didnt want anything. Not even fresh cooked chicken, roast, nothing! (The vet had told my foster parents to feed me whatever I wanted, to just get me to eat) I had to go back in to the puppy hospital for IV fluids for a couple of days and then finally went home, to stay!
If you were to meet me now, you would never know that I was laying on deaths door, just a few short months ago. I am thriving! I rule my foster home. I have foster mom and dad wrapped around my little paw. I snuggle in the big bed at night. I love to play ball. (I am still learning to return the ball but I fetch real well.) I love kids! I can get along with cats. Sometimes they are more fun to chase tho. I do wonderfully in a crate and will use the peepee pads if I have to. I am full of energy, but will calm down when my foster parents are watching TV, just so I can snuggle with them. Oh and I can't forget....I have springs in my back feet. Or so my foster parents say. I love to jump up to greet you when you get home. My Foster parents are working on "calming" me when I get let out of my crate. But I get so happy I can't control myself!
Won't you consider adopting me and letting me be a part of your home, furever????
